Does anyone know any good second hand text book sites or stores?

man books cost a bomb these days. and i'm not competent enough to use ebay lol.

Can I leech onto this thread, in regards to where would be a good place to sell them? (oh, and buy second hand, for my brother)

Last year we tried through my school, got about 1/3rd of the value back and only got the money in june XD

A & G's second hand books are expensive too. They buy books for like 15%* the original cost and sell them for 95%* the original cost.

* figures have been made up on the spot.  :P

You could by some second hand books from Yr 12's who attend your school. They will most likely want to get rid of their books.

And at my mum's school, only one book that we use they also used, so thats not useful for buying/selling from there xD

Any good bookshops in eastern suburbs? (as in, 30km or so away from cbd etc)

Umm... SE suburbs there's Spectrum out in Croydon... I know they at least used to buy books. I've gotta call them up and see what kind of rate they do.
