On a serious note, I never got a letter with my GAT scores? How do I find them out?

Are you sure? It comes in the mail with your statement of results which goes to whatever postal address you wrote down on the VCE subject enrolment form thingy? You should contact your VCE coordinator so they can check what postal address you have put down as well as contact VCAA to make sure the thing wasn't lost in the mail.

So the GAT is basically like the NAPLAN test?

More or less.

2013 - Year 11

Written Communication: 47
Mathematics/Science/Technology: 35
Humanities/Arts/Social Science: 41

Very happy with the Written Communication section - felt confident after the GAT. A little disappointed with the Maths, although some of the questions I had never encountered before (maybe this is usual for a GAT, I'm not sure). The Humanities section was solid enough, particularly considering the complete lack of teaching of those topics in our school.
