I received my ATAR and I'm not to pleased with it. My study score for English was 24.29. However, there is a course I really want to get into and that is Nursing. I clearly can't go to Uni now but I can go through TAFE. It is Diploma of Tertiary Studies - Nursing in Monash.

Prerequisites: Minimum ATAR of 50.00. Units 1 and 2: satisfactory completion in two units (any study combination) of General Mathematics or Mathematical Methods or Units 3 and 4: any Mathematics; and a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or 25 in English other than EAL.

I have fulfilled all the prerequisites except for one, getting a study score of 25 in English.

Would I still be able to go?

Is that your raw score or your scaled score? The pre-req is based on the raw score.

This is your scaled study score.

The minimum requirement is a raw study score of 25.

Considering your scaled score was 24.29, I assume your raw score would have been either 26 or 27 (?), which is higher than that of the requirement.

As mentioned above that is your scaled score, they go by raw score. If you got 50ATAR and 25+RAW SS you should be fine.

I just want to say how much you guys made my day! I was literally upset that I wouldn't be able to go into the course I studied hard for. Hearing this brings me to so much happiness!
