Repeating VCE?
« on: December 17, 2013, 08:37:10 pm »

Hi guys,
I am a current year 12 student.
I just received my ATAR result yesterday. It was 84.05.
But most universities require a min 30 study score of EAL(ESL,same thing).
I would like to do a bachelor of oral health.
Is there any pathway to get into it?
I missed SEAS application, but I did personal statement online.

was your under 30 study score scaled or raw? Because im pretty sure universities use your raw scores.
The clearly in for Oral Health at UoM last year (it should be around the same this year as well) was 90.60 (first round) and 86.15 (second round). So there is still a fair chance of you getting in. For the English requirement, UoM has a bridging program for those that did not meet the english prerequisite (click link below for more info).

Though other than that I don't know other ways to bypass the english prereq other than repeating VCE.
