Is it possible?????
« on: December 19, 2013, 05:10:34 pm »

The past few days have made me frustrated due the incompetence and ignorance of others.

So I have a question for those who understand the system better than I do.

Is it possible to receive results such as these GA1:B GA2:A GA3:A+ despite being ranked 1 both semesters?

I don not want my score to be brought down because my teacher wrote my results incorrectly.

I called up assistant principal and after waiting two days she said that she will increase my semester 1 sac hence bringing me back to rank 1. BUT!!! What about semester 2 shouldn't have I received an A+ if it was correct? Please help because idk if I should go the next step and take things in my own hands.

PS THIS FOR CHEM!

Yet another newbie who thinks that people on ATAR Notes do nothing with their time except ensuring all threads get responded to within an hour.

Wow that is incredibly rude. Can I ask you how my impatience is affecting  your life at all? If anything I've been patient all week... I've waited hours at my principal's office, made countless of trips to school only to feel cheated.

It's not my score I'm worried about it's the certainty. I couldn't care if I got 0 as long as I deserve it.

So end this argument. I don't care if I get a reply anymore.

not 100% sure which GA is the exam; but...

assuming you're ranked 1 for SACs for your whole cohort, not just your class in both semesters...
if you got an A+ on the exam then there is no reason for you not to have A+ for both your SAC marks, seems like an error.
if you got the B for your exam then those SAC marks are better than you should've expected.
if you got an A on your exam those are weird scores but definitely plausible - if you go to a weak school you'd have probably got the lower SAC rank due to GAT scores, I duno, VCAA's complicated... still worth looking into though.

hope that helps.

Thank you that's the kind of reinsurance I needed tomorrow I'll call PRAS and see what they can do for me.
