Not sure. I want to see what happens with vtac lol. Whens the deadline to accept? because i havent seen any dates on the email they sent

I would've but I thought you weren't allowed to defer unless it was a 12 month youth exchange

You are right:
iii. Domestic applicants for the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery are eligible to apply to defer their study only if they are participating in a 12 month Youth Exchange or other similarly recognised program as determined by the Faculty Pro-Vice-Chancellor.

I also read this on their site, however I called up the university and asked about this policy and they told me that it's no longer being used and that this is an error on the site. So it's definitely an option available regardless of your gap year plans

Are you serious? do you think if I called them on monday and asked about the possibility of deferring this late they might still approve?

It's definitely worth a try! I think they should still allow it
