Hi guys,
So in the law1101 unit materials there's a list of books that are prescribed and recommended. Amongst them is a category of books under the title 'Recommended pre-reading'. Some seem really interesting, has anyone actually purchased and read them or am I not really missing out on much by not getting them? I was thinking of looking into some of them though, so let me know what you think.

- Surviving Law school (apparently the new edition is Becoming A Lawyer: Success at law school 3rd ed.) -  Brogan & Spencer
- Studying Law at University (2nd ed.)
- Law student survival guide: 9 steps to law study success (2nd ed.)
- Understanding law (8th ed.)

Thanks!

Those books are legitimately useless, wouldn't recommend buying them.

^ definitely agree. would not buy the prescribed books either, they're co-authored by some members of the law faculty, just a ploy to milk some royalties out of unknowing first years. all the info you get out of those books is basically the history and development of law (completely useless after the first couple of weeks), all of which you can easily just google in your own time. if i could go back, i would definitely have saved my money on ilr.
