Literature in Performance OR Sports

I am hoping to get an internal transfer into Bachelor of Arts either mid year or end of year, (from Bachelor of Environments). I've enrolled in Literature in Performance as a breadth because I like, and am pretty good at literature/studying Shakespeare. But would it be more beneficial to my GPA and transferability for me to drop lit and pick up Sports Coaching, which is supposedly just an easy H1?

Thanks :)

I personally think you should do literature if you like it, one reason being that if you transfer from Environments with three Environments subjects (Level 1) and one Arts subject (Level 1) you can cross-credit the Literature as Arts core and the three Environments as breadth after your transfer.  If you take Sports Coaching and three Environments subjects you would not be able to credit all four subjects because they're all Level 1 and if you plan on doing minimal breadth then you can only credit three Level 1s as breadth.  So you would essentially 'waste' a subject after transfer by losing it from your credits.

Also don't just take stuff because you think it might be an easy H1, you're more likely to do well in/enjoy studying something you're actually more interested in.  And it will help you get a better taste of Arts subjects.  And as I said it is strategically beneficial following a transfer.

Thanks for the reply!
I'm only doing 2 environments subjects in semester 1, my other breadth is a film one on the south bank campus. I think I will stick with lit because it's something I really do have an interest in.

Yeah good idea, and best to maximise the Arts related subjects you do to make life easier after transfer/less fucking around making up for a semester/year in a different degree!  Good luck :)
