Hey guys,

I am super confused as to the difference between print texts and multimodal texts.

Would a newspaper article with a picture be a print or multimodal text?

Thanks ^^

Umm I believe the whole thing would be classed as multimodal, but it depends whether or not the image is embedded in the text. Sometimes the author includes an image (embedded) but sometimes VCAA/teachers add an image that relates to the written component, in which case they're two separate texts. Check the publication details if you're not sure, though this rarely needs mentioning in an essay.
