What formulas do we need to remember that are not in the formula sheet. Also, what are some diffs and anti diffs rule that are tricky to remember?

You need to remember everything from the course for exam 1. For good measure, you should do the same for exam 2.

Hmm from what I can remember reading assessor's reports a lot of people stuff up on the independence formula for events. (e.g if a and b are independent then what is the probability of blah blah)

Annnd anti-differentiating 1/x. Most people forget you have to have the derivative on the top of the equation. Not really sure what else. Most of exam 1 relies on your ability to interpret the question - well the hard questions anyway I guess.

Let's say you're asked for find anti derivative of (ax+c)^5
Many people forget to multiply the denominator with the coefficient of x. ie (ax+c)^6/ 6a
People very commonly make mistakes with these. Especially since the formula sheet doesn't help with these.
