Master of Management is essentially Bachelor of Commerce for graduate students, i.e. those who already have bachelor's degrees. It's for recent graduates/those early in their career who have degrees within/outside commerce who want to their enhance management skills in certain fields (marketing, accounting, finance, and human resources) in preparation for managerial positions. Master of Management subjects are parallel to second/third-year BCom subjects, with additional management subjects and some specialist subjects tailored to graduate studies.
It can be distinguished from Specialist Masters Degrees, i.e. those graduate degrees tailored to students who have finished a relevant BCom major (e.g. Finance).
MBA is a management course for those who are in the early or middle stages of their career. There's even an Executive MBA for those who are already in middle/senior managerial positions. There are basic quantitative/qualitative management, finance, and accounting subjects and some advanced 'global' business studies.
Overall:
Master of Management --> for non-BCom recent graduates or early-career employees who want to take a management course, and for BCom people who wish to take a course/specialisation/accreditation for a different major
Specialist master --> for BCom people who want to specialise/take further studies on their undergraduate major
MBA --> for early/mid/senior career employees and managers (i.e. need at least 2+ years of work experience)
In terms of employability, I totally have no idea about that, but I have some friends and friends of friends who have failed to find jobs with their previous degrees, so they took the Master of Management (Accounting) course to increase employability and become eligible to do the CA.
Please check the MBS website for more details.
Hope this helps
