Arts vs Science at Melbourne for Psych

Hi guys,
I feel like this is a really strange question but I'm gonna ask it anyway.
Now that results are close, I suddenly feel like I've lost sense of what I want to do. I have an extremely keen interest in how the brain works, and also working with people. I have a stronger background in the humanities than the sciences, but that's not to say I'm not good at science or that I don't enjoy it.
Basically, I've always wanted to major in psychology through arts at Melbourne. Now, I'm considering doing it through science, and possibly majoring in neuroscience (?).
If I only chose to major in psychology, would the stream I chose to go through impact on my ability to find good work or anything? Also, I'd like to know what sort of differences there are in the demographic of the people in each stream.

I feel really stupid and lost, and would appreciate any help or advice! Thanks so much!

The main question you should ask yourself if you wanna decide between doing psych in science and psych in arts, is whether your interests OUTSIDE psych are in arts or science? apart from the APAC accredited psych subjects youll need to do in either degree, you will need to fill the rest of the degree up with either arts or science subjects (and breadth).
both degrees are accredited and will allow you to get into a 4th year honours year or grad dip in psychology so thats not a worry in terms of employment or anything. This is because whether you do psych in arts or science you do the exact SAME subjects, with the same people.
the only difference will be the subjects that you do outside of the psychology ones. in science you could do neuroscience things as well which you said you are interested in. but if you arent sure youd like that you could do arts with the humanites that you said you are already familiar with and strong in, and do some neuroscience subjects as breadth!!

also note that you can transfer after a semester or a year or 2, so you could do a bachelor of science majoring in psych and after a year say to yourself "Nup i hate all these other non psych science subjects" and transfer to arts. those science subjects you did that werent psych will count towards your breadth and you will have a bunch of humanities units to do :D

best of luck

While not impossible, the neuroscience subjects are all third year subjects, so doing them as breadth may be challenging. Prerequisites need to be satisfied too, so you'd need to give up all your breadth slots to study neuroscience.
