what are the chances of receiving an offer for biomed at melbourne with an atar of 96.2?

Not entirely sure, but it would be quite low I'd imagine unfortunately, unless you have some sort of SEAS under your belt. My friend didn't get in with a 98.2 last year

Nope they weren't. That may have been it though

One of my friends got a 98.10 ATAR but didn't get into Melbourne biomed for the 2014 intake (he had no SEAS). He said that in a way, he's actually lucky though, because apparently Monash makes it easier to get into graduate medicine.
2012 ATAR - 86.75
2013 ATAR - 88.50
2014: BSci (Statistics) at RMIT
2015 - 2017: BCom at UoM
