Access Melbourne Scholarships

Hey, just curious as to what kind of ATAR is needed to be at least under consideration for the scholarships. My only SEAS category will be underrepresented school.
Thanks :)

I think underrep on its own would be difficult to get the scholarship even if you went under consideration and would probably need a high atar to go with it, just because there are so many underrep students.
I applied for disadvantaged financial circumstances along with underrep, scored a 89.65 and still got the scholarship! Hope this gives you some sort of idea :)

Thank you and congrats on getting it!
I'm hoping for around 95 but I'm being optimistic haha so maybe I'll be considered :)

Not to scare you, but I got 93.65 and qualified thoroughly for several categories, and didn't get the scholarship. I think they weight rural location and underrepresented more heavily than some others, though (mine were financial, domestic and health-related), so you might be fine with an ATAR around there or lower :)

Me and a few others got ATARs of over 98 and got the scholarship based off of youth allowance category whichever one that fell under.

I actually think your score would have to be pretty high if you just qualify for underrepresented school (though with a 95 that'd be  extremely possible). Eg. if you look at the access melb gauranteed entry (which is another thing entirely) it's for disadvantaged financial background and rural students. Which makes one think that underep would be weighted less

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I'm interested too. I currently attend a selective school where I'm also receiving a lot of financial assistance (was also offered a couple of full scholarships at relatively prestigious schools in year 7 and 9). I qualify under 3 SEAS categories under reasonably substantial circumstances (financial-my parents total income before tax is below $40,000 (I'm also work 12 hours a week to help my parents), difficult circumstances and medical conditions). I've never attended an under-represented school and I don't live in a rural area. I'm expected to get a minimum atar of 99. What is the chance of me receiving an Access full scholarship (is it impossible because I'm non-rural)?

Thanks
