Sup guys, don't mean to move off topic (although I think that's technically already happened) - what sac scores and exam scores do you need for a 45?

Depends on what subjects and schools. Have no clue what happens, but dropping a mark in further exam will bring down ur SS heaps, where in Spesh dropping 1 mark in exam might not affect anything.

Lol, it's way worse in Specialist. In 2014 1 mark could make you go from 47 to 44.

In Specialist, if one mark drops you 40 rankings in the state, that's 3 study scores.

45+ raw score guaranteed (or 100% refund) for 2022 Methods & Specialist (other subjects also available - classes for all) register now!

Also hiring excellent Methods, Chemistry, Physics, Biology + Specialist tutors with a passion for excellence - PM me!

We also now support Chemistry, Physics and Biology!

Kind of off topic again, but this year I received a 50 in one of my subjects and my school screwed up and pretty much left almost all the year 11s preferences as saying no to getting published in the top scorers and the other things like the premiers award thing. The school told me they would try to figure something out to see if I was still eligible for a premiers award but I think they just went on holiday and probably forgot. So do you guys think I still have a chance of getting a premiers award if they can somehow manage to change my preference or would it already be too late?

Legit the exact same thing happened at my school! Not even joking!!

I rang up VCAA and got them to change my preference so apparently I'm eligible now (however im still a bit worried that everything is still mucked up...)

Maybe give them a ring and see what they say? :)

It was fairly easy

98/100 --> 48
97/100 --> 46
100 scaled SACs

Dunno how that works

Does this mean the GAT would separate the 46s from the 47s :/ That's an unfortunate year for further, especially when each mark is so easy to lose..

Apparently losing a mark in exam one (39/40) impacts your study score more/is a lot worse than losing a mark in exam two (59/60).

This might be why those particular marks equated to weird study scores? :)
