so im looking at going to a uni in nsw/act, and they have their atar requirements, so is a 50.00 in nsw the same as a 50.00 in victoria. Also if someone could clear up on how to apply to a nsw uni i would appreciate it alot :)

Hey!

I'm looking towards studying in NSW/ACT too, I'm not 100% sure but I'll try to help anyway.

I think the ATAR would be around the same, yes.
And plus you might need to meet certain subject pre-requisites too but some of the pages may tell you the VCE equivalent etc.

To apply to a NSW/ACT uni, you need to apply through UAC, which is basically the Victorian version of VTAC. I'm not too sure if UAC differs from VTAC that much, but you also choose preferences and offers come out at a similar-ish time etc.
Can someone clear this up for me if I'm wrong?

Good luck anyway :)

Atars are the same in every state (it stands for Australian tertiary admissions rank). And to apply to uni there it's through uac instead of vtac

5th August and from memory it's similar to your Vic number, but the website will have this information.
