You most certainly can. Though it's tempting, don't think about what study score you're destined to get, but rather what you can do to improve. If you feel like you're not understanding English, then take a lunchtime or recess to sit yourself down with your teacher and talk to them about your progress and what you can do to improve. Otherwise, just write down what you think you need to improve on. Start with the little things instead of worrying about the whole subject.

Is it that you don't know how to write an essay in SAC conditions? In that case, think of things that you can do right now. If it's language analysis, focus on feedback from your teacher and try to take it to heart. If it's text response, are you sure you're really understanding the book well? Read good essays from this website (there are plenty). Start writing plans (make them as detailed as you feel confident) before moving onto fully-fledged essays. Start with untimed before restricting yourself to timed. There are dozens of LA articles and practice topics/prompts around here.

Focus on what you can do before the next SAC. It might be weeks/next term but there's always something you can do right now (yes, after you finish reading this post) in English to improve.
