for what values of x would 95% of the shots fall within?

the way my teacher taught me how to do this was to x= Inverse normal 0.025 with mean and sd and x= inverse normal with 0.975 but i also realise it is 2 sd's withtin the mean which yields a slighty different answer from my teacher's way, so which one is correct?

Yeah it's advised to use the invnorm function unless you're in exam 1 or you have been specifically told, 'using the 68-95-99.7% rule'
