Proteins are made up of amino acids bonded together by peptide bonds. A polypeptide consists of two or more amino acids. Therefore a protein is developed from a series of polypeptide chains. And without polypeptides, you wouldn't have a protein. That's how they're related.  :)

thank you!!! this helped so much!!! also can you please explain sex linkage with examples because I'm not 100% confident with that :)

Is protein synthesis just another term for polypeptide synthesis? Or do we refer to it as protein synthesis if asked~

Yes it is another term as chains of polypeptides become proteins. If you have any other questions please see the Biology Question Thread

hey guys!
does anyone have some sort of method which helps them differentiate dna replication and peotien synthesis? i get especially confused by translation and transcription ... thanks! :)
