Hey forum users!

How does one prepare for the end of year externals? I've read other posts etc but would appreciate a more direct response.

I'm currently in year 11 and my goal is to be producing high quality essay's by the time I start Year 12.

I should also mention that time available this is relatively limited but next year I will have a lot more time to devote to English preparation.

If more context is needed, point it out in the comments.

im doing 3/4 english this year and i think whats incredibly helpful is writing essays on numerous prompts & submitting them teachers/AN for feedback  writing as many essays as you can before the october exam helps you to identify your flaws (eg, your vocabulary, your sentence structure) and improve on them in your future essays.

also i find it helpful to read other essays too, as this often notifies me of mistakes im making in my writing. one other thing, analyse your texts/films as closely as possible, as a high complexity of ideas is vital for a high scoring essay.

my advice probably isnt credible as ive yet to complete english, but hopefully these tips benefit you! best of luck
