Hey guys!

Just wondering if it's possible to get either 99.90 or 99.95 with the following subjects (I have given my SS for the 3/4 I did last year)?
1. English Language
2. Maths Methods
3. Chemistry
4. Global Politics
5. Revolutions
6. Philosophy (SS: 43)

Thank you :)

Yes but your subject choice will disadvantage you or 99.90 . Do you realistically think you are able to get 48-50 raw in all 4 of your 5 subjects (you must be top 5 in humanities subjects in victoria pretty much)? Otherwise you're at severe risk.

95 can be guaranteed if you master the content

99 will be tough but still definitely achievable (however it is a great score)
Otherwise

@exit thank you for the info mate! :)  To be honest, with my subject selection I decided to stay true to my passions and interests instead of 'strategically picking' subjects despite knowing it would quite greatly disadvantage my aim of a high 99.  But idk, I am hopeful and optimistic that somewhere down the track it will pay off as I am in a way, staying true to myself as a person (gosh that sounds so cheesy xD)  Do you have any tips on what I should be working on to get that 99.90?

Well if your teachers for Global Politics (hard subject to score well in !)or History are good and VCAA Assessors then that's a good sign because all you probably need to do is hand in responses to questions and get them to mark it, and know all the content from front to back, even the small details. Otherwise you'd probably need external help. How are you scoring in them so far?

Chem, methods=just know not just the theory but the understanding and know how to apply concepts to a variety of scenarios, mitigating mistakes.

EngLang= I'm doing it with you atm so I would know just as much or less than you lol

Yes it is possible but you will need exceptionally high raw scores in your top 4 so it may be beneficial to sacrifice one of your subjects to focus more on the four you need to do well in (obviously English language has to be part of that four).

If you 50 all 5 subjects this year, then you will  get 99.90, but 99.95 is not possible without language or specialist maths
