Hey guys, anyone doing it and if so what course??

Im not sure if anyone who has done it before can give me some tips, i kinda trolled prelims (70s, top10 ranks in all subjects) but have amazing year 12  results with top 5 ranks in all my subjects half yearly- (90s in english, 3u, bio, chem, chinese). I hope trials carry me higher though :)

My question is, do they pick like really harshly (ruse level) or ceebs ceebs [Considering law with art/com or psychology]. Well i believe i'll get into my course anyway but this is just for backup. Also anyone know whats this school recommendation scheme thing ik a guy in last years cohort who got  87 or 89 atar and got into uts law with that thing like wtf.

My err community things are pretty weak (0 leadership hehe xd, few volunteer, a few icas/ commonwealth/ school awards, sports ahahahahaha) so should i not even bother

Lastly, anyone with LAT experience pls msg me i signed up but the source integration seems kinda weird since i dont do humanity subjects and can tell me if latprep is legit?

Any comments would be great.

hi!! i applied about a week ago (while procrastinating for study though whoops) and i put down two different double degrees involving international studies - one with media, and one with law. i've done absolutely crap for both prelim and hsc so my ranks don't look very nice but i have heard of people who got 80 atar getting into early entry. for you though, they'd definitely choose you judging from the marks you've provided. a tip from me is to provide as much stuff as possible for extra curriculars and what not because that makes you stand out.

as for schools recommendations scheme, i'm not doing that, and neither am i doing the lat because law was a dream that went away a very long time ago hahahah

good luck!

Hi guys!

Does the type of University you go to actually matter? Or all they all really just the same?

What's the probability of receiving a guaranteed UOW offer?  - Law/Arts  :-[ :-[

Hey everyone, I went for my UOW early offer interview today in Liverpool. The student representatives were very warm and reassuring, however, when I walked into the interview room I was greeted by two middle aged women who were almost passive aggressive, I was so nervous. I also felt overdressed, I was wearing a business suit.

I have been involved in mooting, was a school prefect and did many extracurricular activities, do they take this into consideration?

I am a QLD student and I'm looking at moving to Sydney.

What's the likelihood of them accepting me into Law/Arts - the published ATAR is 90.

My current grades are as follows:

English Advanced - A-
Legal Studies - A
Study of Religion 2 unit - A+
Modern History - B+
Ancient History - C

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)
