Hey Elayg6! :)

Yep, it's possible, so long as your school allows it.

EngLang 1/2 can provide a pretty nice foundation for 3/4, but it's not strictly necessary. There's a bit of overlap, but not insurmountable.

Have you spoken to your school about the possibility? :)

That's what I'm doing this year!
If you are willing and ready to work hard, it certainly isn't an issue

What have you found to be the most difficult part, miniturtle?

I haven't spoken to my school but they will most likely allow it. Does 3/4 Englang cover the majority of 1/2?

Nah - a lot of it is actually pretty different.

You might find this post useful; I've outlined the differences between Units 1/2 and Units 3/4. :)

Learning how to write good essays and ACs under timed conditions.
However I suspect that this difficulty has more to do with distance ed than not doing 1&2

I reckon they're pretty common difficulties across the EngLang board, too!

Hey exit,

Honestly stretching my memory a little bit, but certainly not as many as other subjects. This was because a) I found it harder to keep motivation (essays etc. as opposed to predominantly short-answer questions for my other subjects), and b) I simply couldn't find as many.

Did I get every single one marked? I doubt it, but I would have spoken to my teacher about several of them.
