If I wanted to do medicine, what’s the difference of getting into science and Biomed in terms of the number of places allowed for them to enter medicine? Do they allow the same number of people from each course or does Biomed get more spots available for med?

Biomed has more spots for graduate entry medicine. From memory, there are 50 available for biomed students, with an extra 25 for students from other Monash science-related courses.

Pretty much this, except note that biomed students are eligible for all 75 spots. Monash degrees eligible for the 25 places include Biomedical Science, Science (with certain units), Pharmacy and Physiotherapy.
