Hey guys,
Just wondering, where does one print 500 pages of word documents? my school has a printer that costs 50c a page (even in black and white) :-\, and I really want to print the past exam papers and other study related documents. Where can I get this done?

is that where you printed your past exam papers? 10c a page seems a little to pricey. what about those huge shops I see (the one at Latrobe for example) that are called "Cheap Mass Printing" surely they can do it cheaper than that?

Hey! Officeworks is $0.08 near me - Printing a page in black and white costs about $0.06 I think, so you'll be hard-pressed doing it cheaper than about 10 cents. If you've got your own printer already then you might just scrape by doing it for a few bucks less, but like, $40 for a large black ink cartridge and $5 for a pack of paper, you're pretty much there :)

With that many pages to print, I think it sounds like you'd possibly be better off buying a printer from Officeworks (you can get some really decently priced ones)! :)

If you want to cut down on the amount of pages you need to print, I'd recommend seeing if you can fit more than one page onto each sheet of paper, and also seeing which things aren't super necessary to print out (you can always have the file open on your laptop and write down your answers on loose leaf paper/in an exercise book).

Nah I used my own printer. Not too sure if it was economically more efficient but definitely more convenient.

Here's a little secret that I knew from a while =)

https://www.tonercity.com.au/hp/ink/hp-02-c8721wa-c8775wa.html

1. Get a cheap laser printer
2. Get cheap ink at  CARTRIDGE WORLD

16 packs of INK that print 350 pages each!
http://cartridgeworld.com.au/store-locations

I recommend this (http://cartridgeworld.com.au/productDetail/Ink-Cartridge/Brother/Item/Brother-LC-133-Value-Pack-up-to-600-pages-per-colour-CW-Compatible/106477)

These are like laser jet ink (It's like the no name brand of expensive ink)
$100 + 58= $158

WHILE it may seem expensive, it is worth it in the long run.

These toners last about 350 to 1200 pages (meaning less than 8c a page)
