STUDY SCORE & ATAR CALCULATOR

Hi all,

To find out the approximate ATAR that we could get, by using ATAR calculator online, we need to put the study score of the subject.
Does anyone know how to calculate (i know it won't be 100%a accurate but approximately) my study score of each subject ?

Thanks

This early in the year it’s close to impossible to predict study scores to any degree of accuracy. Even looking at your SAC scores is not very helpful as they get scaled and also exams are ordinarily have a greater weighting.
2018: ATAR: 99.35

English: 44
Methods: 43
Further Maths: 50
Chemistry: 46
Legal: 40

I've heard that ATAR Calculator is good to have an idea of the ATAR you could get or even an aim.
So, it means that we cannot use ATAR CALCULATORS???

It's an excellent tool to set study score goals for an atar that you want. However, in terms of predicting what Atar you will receive it is only as accurate as you can predict your study scores. And as I mentioned before, predicting one's study score this early in the year is very difficult. I would highly encourage you to not get too stressed over predicting what ATAR you will get already. Too many kids I know consult an atar calculator after every sac, trying to add a point for x subject while taking away from y subject. In my honest opinion it is quite a big waste of time and can lead to either false hopes or despair. Try your absolute best in every subject and you are bound to do well :)
