Do you ever miss school?

Some parts yes, some parts no. I'm probably the worst person to ask this, given I left and returned as a teacher, haha.

The friendships and lack of adult responsibility probably was what I miss most. Also the community culture and feel of a school, you may never get that again depending on your circumstances.

Whether you go into full time work, tafe, uni etc.. the responsibility is entirely on you. No teachers hand holding, no leniency and follow up re: homework etc... the level of responsibility regardless of what you do, is significantly higher.

Friendships probably is the biggest thing I miss from school. You all were in the same place at the same time and had no barriers. Outside of school, it is much more difficult to maintain these friendships due to differences in each person's life and the path they take. Speaking on a personal level, I have probably lost friendships with aroundabout 80% of my friends from high school 5 years later. I only still speak to a few who have bothered to maintain contact.

Pros and cons.

I dont know if I will particularly miss it, but it's going to be very weird suddenly not having a strict timetable and routine in the form of school. I mean I have been going school like many others for more than 12 years now. So basically the majority of my life I have spent the better part of the year waking up every day, attending school at 9 and finishing at 3 pm. It's something that just becomes part of one's lifestyle over such a long time. Therefore I feel suddenly being so free will feel very odd...
But I do look forward to it :)

Do you still remember the scores you got on sacs/exams once you leave school?

I screenshotted my study score/GA results for each subject but in terms of individual scores, I only remember the memorable ones (both positive and negatives). Like I remember I got an E+ on an English SAC (can't remember which one) and I remember my IT Apps scores.. that's about it though.

Once you leave school and move onto the next phase of your life, tbh ATAR and scores related to it aren't really that relevant anymore. While VCE and schooling might seem like a massive deal now because you're in the thick of it, once you leave you realise it was a snapshot of your life that you move on from.. and quickly.
