Okay so I just completed a discovery practice essay and I was only able to complete three paragraphs. 2 on my prescribed and 1 on my related. Is that bad? Do I need to have 2 related text paragraphs? Will I get less marks for it? I'm worried!  ???

The amount of paragraphs and writing you shouldn't really matter, since the amount of marks you get depends on how well your ideas are presented, how well you answer the question and your ability to analyse textual evidence in a concise manner (but it's best to have at least 3 quotes for a text in a paragraph).

I don't think you'll be marked down for have one related text paragraph, I've mentioned my related text in one paragraph comparing it with my prescribed text before and it was fine (I had only two body paragraphs in that essay but mentioned two texts in each). How you structure the essay is really up to you and there's no exact way, as long as your related text is analysed well (and may be compared to the prescribed text) you can still get high marks!
