the question is Composers represent various ideas about human experiences in their text. discuss with detailed reference to distinctive textual elements.

Pi was brought up a Hindu, but through experiencing different cultures and beliefs Pi alters his mentality. In “Life of Pi”, Pi is seen as being a religious boy. His mother teaches Pi what Hinduism is first, the later Pi is dared to drink holy water from a nearby church. When inside the church Pi gets fascinated and curious about Jesus. This leads him to ask questions to the priest and start believing in Christianity. He soon stumbles upon a mosque and gets interested in Islam and then starts practicing all three religions at the same time. The theme of religion plays a huge role in the way that Pi experiences the world. From being actively devoted and practicing all three different religions at the same time Pi is shaping his own mentality. By believing in so much and being curious, it allows Pi to be non-judgmental, open-minded, as well as intelligent, he alters and challenges his perspective of the world by having all these different traits. Pi’s division in believing all the different religions is later seen as his division in believing in the two stories he believes that happened to him at his time at sea. Pi is open to believe he has experienced both stories, as he opened-minded mentality from experiencing three different religions leads him to not believe in one thing. Pi can look beyond the small picture and is willing to accept both realities, the same way he does with his belief in god.  Believing in three different gods has altered his mentality and allows him to view the world and his experiences more broadly.

After reading this paragraph, I feel like it's a lot of recounting the events of the novel and not a lot of analysis in regards to your question. I don't exactly get what the point you're trying to make with this body paragraph is and there's no analysis of how composers use textual elements, or literary techniques, to represent an idea about human experiences.

I'd recommend restarting your approach to the essay question and first selecting the 3-4 key ideas about the human experience represented in your text, then selecting 3-4 pieces of evidence from your text that demonstrate how these ideas are represented, then writing your body paragraphs out of that structure.

I did notice that the question asked about the composer  so instead of referring to Pi, refer to the author or director's intentions and what human experiences/ideas (loss, death, fear, survival) they present. In English using the PETAL essay structure is better for analysis.
P- Point you are making
E- Example you want to use
T- Technique (explain the techniques used in the example)
A- Analyse (the effects of the techniques on the audience)
L- Link (Link your answer back to the question)
