WES not enough credit points?

Hey guys, I received an early offer from Monash into Biomedical Science and they tell me I would have to enrol into the course before the offer expiry date. I don't even know if I want to get into Monash University or not, but I heard from everyone, including VTAC and my careers advisor, that accepting their offer does not make me ineligible to receive other offers higher up on my preference list for the January round. Also, I do have something to lose by not applying, as the offer does expire and there is no guarantee I would get the same offer for the January round. Enrolling into the university is free of charge aslong as I cancel on time.

So anyways, im hoping I get an offer from Melbourne Uni when the jan round starts, but in the meantime im completing my Monash enrolment? is this the right way to go? I know there might not be as much experience with this right now because I know 2019 is the first year where they started sending out university offers in December.

OK so enough with the background info, I am enrolling in Monash University and im struggling to get past the final part "Unit Enrolment form". they only gave me 6 units to enrol in, all giving 6 Credit points, 3 for each semester. I ticked all of them, and yet the website is still telling me 18 credit points per semester is not enough.

What do I do? any help would be appreciated.

I apologise for the convoluted post, I am sleepy, and this application is confusing me, and I don't think I actually fully understand this full offer/round/enrolment thing as of yet.

It is possible to do 6 units in a year but that would be someone underloading. A normal load a university student undertakes is 4 units (or more accurately 24 credit points a semester as some other units are worth 12/18/24 points).

I think maybe you should add 2 more units to your enrolment and see if it works as they will assume a student is studying full-time unless you have said otherwise elsewhere.

As Sine has said, the usual is to enrol into 8 units, so 2 more units are probably needed.

The reason they probably had 6 units was probably because those 6 units were the compulsory ones or the common first year units.
