Bachelor of Science Course Progression map help

Hi guys. I am currently enrolling in BSc at Monash university and I am a bit confused by the course progression map for Bsc.

Course progression map: https://www.monash.edu/students/handbooks/maps/2020/map-s2000.pdf

I am fine with the "Science major approved level 1 sequence 1" and a bit confused about the "Approved level 1 sequence 2" area.

I know the science sequences: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Computational Science, Earth Atmoshphere and Environment etc.

I have already chosen Biological Sciences sequences and I realise that there are 3 options to choose. I have chosen the first option with BIO1101 (Blueprints for Life) and BIO1022 (Life on Earth).

To select my other approved science sequence, would I have to choose the other sequences (e.g. Chemistry) even though they aren't related to the major that I'd like to pursue (Human Patholgoy)?

I know that this a weird question but I'd greatly appreciate any help! Feel free to reply if you don't understand what I mean and I'll try to be more concise.

Yep you'll need to choose another science level 1 sequence. CHM1011/ CHM1022 is recommended for students majoring in Human Pathology as mentioned in this link https://www.monash.edu/science/current-students/manage-your-science-studies/example-by-major
2019 - Bachelor of Laws (Honours)/Bachelor of Science @ Monash University
