Why does VCAA insist on wasting paper and assume we're all morons by writing 'This page is blank'?

Because VCAA likes to make people think blank page = end of exam so that people can forget questions :[

Lol I dunno, isn't it so they can set out the start of a question on the left side of the page?

I think it's usually to put stuff conveniently on adjacent pages so you don't have to keep flipping backwards and forwards. The 'This page is blank' thing is just to prevent people thinking it's a printing error.

I guess that's plausible. But even so, couldn't they just write "please turn over" or something along those lines. Having "This page is blank" is a contradictory statement anyway! Now who's the moron  :knuppel2:

Heh... my uni exams... even if only half a page doesn't have anything written on it, it says:

"This section has been left intentionally blank."

You guys have got no idea how many times errors pop up in uni exams.
Last semester, they interrupted us so much during AFC1010 (accounting and finance) that the head invigilator gave us an extra 10mins writing time.

You'd think that considering the accounting and finance department is far too lazy to write their own questions and just takes questions out of textbooks, past papers, etc... yeah... you'd think they'd at least choose questions that didn't have mistakes in them >.>
