I'm sure that I read something about each member of each pair being allocated to groups based on a random number table (or other similar method) meaning that each member of the pair (and thus, every participant) had an equal chance of being allocated to group A or group B which would mean that random allocation was used.

sorry guys.. i got confused with random sampling and random allocation.. i was suppose to say random allocation ;D

but yeah is there a yes or no for sure??
