Hi,
do you think it would be appropriate to use Locke's Goal setting theory on the exam for motivation?
Or should I just stick with Maslow or Hertzberg?
thanks

The current study design says you can do either I believe, so do the one you have learn't. Personally we did Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs so I will be using that. I think though in future years the study design has changed and you have to do Maslow for motivation and Kotter for Change Mgmt. Don't quote me on that though.

All the best for Friday!

I think it just really depends on the case study. I'm thinking of using Edwin Locke's goal-setting theory but i have also learnt David McClelland's three needs theory just to be on the safe side. I would advise the same for you, learn both.
