What happens when there are many people ranked first in a cohort?

In the Business Management class at my school 60% of the class have equal first ranking, it is only 3 people out of the whole class of 5, but it is still over half of the cohort. Will this effect SAC moderation in some way?
I have no idea.

Thanks

apparently what happens is that since they all share the top ranking, all of their exam scores are added up and divided by however many people share that ranking, and then that average score found is allocated to each of those people as their SAC mark. that's what one of my teachers said, hence why he makes sure that nobody shares the same ranking. i'm not sure how true it is, but he's had a fair bit of experience, so i assume he's correct.

Sounds about right. My spesh teacher said the same thing. That's the reason why hard tests are used especially at top performing school to get a good distribution, so that people don't double up on rankings.

Well, more like unmoderated SAC score. Shouldn't change all too much though after moderation.
