I think mavis was saying that they shouldn't come here just to use our education system and get perfect scores, then not even use these scores to get into their college/uni. Since the US doesn't require it, why take someone else's 99.95 or even 99+?  when they don't even need this score.

But i agree with Nova, it's good to gain experience outside of the bubble of our schooling lives in this state with the same people&culture who are used to. Yeah, we need to "broaden our horizon"

Well entrance into unis are just based on demand and applicants are ranked accordingly to their ENTERs. If this guy doesn't even apply for any Australian unis, then his 99.95 or whatever score has no effect to the whole system as he isn't changing the demand on any courses really. What he does has no effect on anyone else's chances of getting into uni. Bad explanation I know, but urgh, I'm too tired to do any better.

Oh yeah this is very true haha, i completely forgot about that. But still, i think mavis' arguement stands regardless of that. I don't mind too much i guess ><

LOL, I did quote ur post, but I was answering to the person ABOVE me, i forgot to quote his so I will edit it now.

Just had to make that clear, that on page 1, where I quoted you I wasn't questioning/directing anything at you.
