Hi.. i have got an essential methods unit 3/4 cas book but its not the Ti Inspire Version.. and we r using Ti Inspire in class.. so do u reckon it will effect me in any way..?? ( btw Q's and everything else is teh same except when they show how to use Ti-inspire calculator)

its the same thing ... the page numbers are a tiny bit different.. but same exercises same questions.. and you miss out on the visual calculator thing which shows u how to do certain questions on the ti calculator. thats all ... same thing different smell :)

Ahaha this is what happened to my friend (except we use Mathsquest not Essentials). Anyway you won't be disadvantaged or anything since the questions are the same and you'll probably learn how to use the calculator in class. Just get the CD/eBook off a friend so you'll have the Ti-inspire calc instructions on your computer.

Yeah, it's not that much important.
You can probably just get one of your friends to photocopy the appendix on how to use the TI

yeah doesn't really matter, the new version just has the new calc details
