My personal expectations are pretty low but other people's expectations for me are pretty high and that's where things start to go wrong.

Similar situation here.

I know that I'm not going to meet the expectations placed on me (in regards to VCE/competitions/music), but it doesn't change the fact that they still exist.

same with stonecold- i have only the expectations that i brought upon myself. the thought of not meeting them is so upsetting/stressful, i must do it! (i don't think i will though eek).

My personal expectations are pretty low but other people's expectations for me are pretty high and that's where things start to go wrong.

i love that that blog mini! (unless you found it elsewhere) hah, i went through the entire thing ages ago, it's barely updated in ages.

I put more pressure on myself than anyone else does. I have two virtual asian parents in my head.
