I know its the last day for timely seas applications....ive been sick ok? :o

I'de like to know how i can make my impact statement and statement of support strong for my seas applications, and also for the Pi form.

I'm applying under the financially disadvantaged and long term medical condition categories, my paediatrician will be writing the statement of support.

I cant find anything like this on other forums or otherwise so any help would be much appreciated!!! And yes im read the basic info on the seas booklet and website, its very vague :(

Thanks in advance!
Chris

I thought SEAS applications close on the 8th October.  So you've still got 1 day to send in all your documentation and put through your impact statement.

Im pretty sure you have to submit the statement of support today aswell so your doc is going to have to write it right now. They close at 5 and your doc probably finished at 5.

I cant believe the amount of people who have left there SEAS applications til this late.

Go to them and submit it.  They close at 5 o'clock.  Any tram which goes down St Kilda Road will get you there.  It wasn't too busy which was good.

Your pretty screwed if you need stuff written by your doctor or someone else though.  Doubt they will do it on such short notice.  I had to get a photocopy certified.  Went to 4 different places until someone wasn't lazy enough to snob me off to some other store.  Still this guy made me pay $2 donation for him to sign his name and certify the copy.  Dumbest system.

I am pissed that I didn't constantly go and see the youth councilor at my school and whinge about my family.  Then I could have done Cat 4 application, and she could have written me a sweet statement of support. :(

I'm just curious if some else is making a statement of support for you, do they have to put their contact details too?

I just turned up with what I wanted written and asked him to rewrite it and sign it (though this wasn't for SEAS) and he didn't care. Means he gets his fee rather than bulk billing, they're not too unhappy :P

That is actually rather clever.  I went to see to specialists this year about my eyes and skin.  Should have gotten references from them...

I like the way you think though haha :P

Most places don't certify documents during their busiest times for obvious reasons.  I got my documents certified from a pharmacist and I went at around 7 PM, when it was pretty quiet.
