NMR on exam

More than 7 hrs since I came out of the exam room, but I still can't get over with it...

I know there had been some posts on today's exam, however, I wanted to ask if anyone actually wrote 'zero' when one of the NMR questions asked the no. of equivalent protons that would cause a triplet (? sorry, I can't remember the exact wording of the question). I wasn't sure if I should write 2 or, since it asked for 'equivalent', none... because if they were equivalent, there wouldn't be splits caused by neighbouring protons. I am not sure if my logic is right though.

Thanks!
p.s. I was quite surprised when people said the exam was easy when I came out of the exam room (and even more scared because people's posts have been reflecting this reaction too!)

I think a few people stuffed up the NMR though.
I got Ethyl Methanoate. But from what I hear, people got a variety of things, from Propanone, Propanal, Propanoic acid......

HAD to be.

First you had to draw out the propanoic acid for the question above it.

Then you had to draw it in such a way that it wouldn't react with a base.... ie: an ester. Only one possible was ethyl methanoate
