You cannot take the logarithm of a negative number in Methods because you never use a negative base.

log is the inverse of exponential.





They are reflections of each other in the line . Try doing this, it shows how the basic log graph does not exist outside of .

As you (should) know, is never less than zero, indeed this is true for any exponential whose base is larger than zero. And as you discovered earlier the inverse inherits the range of the original function as its domain. Therefore for a logarithm whose base is greater than zero(which covers all the logarithms I have seen in Methods) its domain will be .

Hey mate, fresh air is good. I like it. H2O is good for the mind, rejuvenates the soul and revives the body.
