subjects such as Methods, physics, spesh

Let's say you only lose around 3-4 marks for your sacs in a moderate coherent and bomb out in the exams (C to B's for both), as compared to averaging low sac marks throughout the entire year (60-70%~) and getting an A-A+ on both exams. what would you be looking at for an SS for both scenario's?

I'm only asking this since last year in my FM class, I'd say we were moderate-high as a coherent. i averaged 92% as opposed to my friend who averaged around 80%, however he got a higher SS than me due to his exam marks (i rocked up to exams hungover - my bad :p).

p.s out of a class of 9 for FM last year, mean ranking was 38, not bad considering the state of our school - horrible public school w/ horrible teachers, we pretty much self-studied.

If you read this handbook, it has all information on how the marks go.. Exam percentages: SAC's etc.

Don't disregard the importance of SACs, but also don't let them get your mood down.
I find exams easier than the SACs... don't know why, but it's probably because the VCAA makes the questions more understandable and logical than my teachers. :P
It's all over now..

^ they might take your GAT into consideration or look at the fact that you're the only one who got high marks, albiet your ranked last, while everyone else got low. => teacher hates you, those type of factors.
very rarely does the lowest ranking student score the highest mark and the highest scoring students score low marks. imo they'll definitely come to the conclusion that your teacher dislikes you or what not.
