What would happen if....two people wrote the exact same response in an essay for a VCE exam (not English)

For example, the teacher handed out good examples from previous students that some people memorized, and then the question is the same in the exam so people reel out the exact same pre-pared answer. What would the assesors do if they got both exams to correct? Both zero?

I dont think they'll pick it up. They're marking different papaers from different schools, so its highly unlikely that an examiner will get 3 or 4 of the same school's exam. If it did happen, however, i would assumed that the students would be interrogated- and have to prove that it was the teachers example- and not them copying in the exam.

With the amount of papers the examiners correct, i doubt that they would remember reading the same exam twice ...

Yes, its all allowed.

I seriously doubt that - exams are marked at "Year 12" standard so VCAA wouldn't condone regurgitation of teachers' essays. Copying from anything - not just published works or other students, but teachers or tutors as well - is plagiarism. And even if you got away with doing it, it's so unfair to the people who have enough of a conscience not to cheat.

Basically....JUST DON'T DO IT!

If the response fits the question, what's the problem? Questions are supposed to prevent the incidence of a being able to use a rote memorized essay.
