I often hear of people saying that doing spesh majorly helps with methods? In what ways though? Which topics from spesh help with methods?

i don't do spesh but got the textbook for one...
was considering skimming the worked examples, just to understand the overlapping material.

I don't think that spech helps methods THAT much.....

Like i suppose being around maths more and manipulating numbers more can help you with maths generally, but it's not going to make a sugnificant difference. Tbh, i don't think that doign seoch exercises is really going to help you with methods as they do completely different thigng with the topics that do overlap and a lot of the stuff is pretty much redundant in methods.

As for overlapping topics jason pretty much covered it if you really are that keen, but srsly i wouldn't waste my time. I you've done every single exercise and revision chapter from the essentials textbook then ur set for 40+ nwyz

Calculus, Trig, Functions and Relations. We did all those topics in Specialist first before doing them in Methods. After doing rather complicated derivatives and integrals, then going back to the basics of it in methods, kinda made methods really boring.
Religion and Society (38), IT - Software Development (45) English (35), Chemistry (49), Methods CAS (48), Specialist Maths (50)
ENTER: 99.15

2010 - Bachelor of Science(Maths)/Engineering(Chemical) - Monash Clayton

i think you're better off spending your time elsewehre rather than skimming the worked examples in a spec book. just focus on the methods books coz thats all u'll ever need
