In my Mid-Year accounting exam i got a B, i am unsure whether this is my ranking or it is my actual exam score (which is between 70% 1n 75% becasue of my B).

A grade of B is your ranking against everyone else in the state doing Accounting. You can't actually find out your exam score (percentage or raw) unless you send in application forms requesting to see your exam (which costs money). Generally if you want to find out what you got out of 90, you have to send in an Application for Statement of Marks, which breaks down the exam question by question... what you got for each question.

B doesn't necessarily mean it's between 70~75%, the grading system changes every year.

A B is a good effort... Good Luck with the end-of-year exam!

VCAA does release the grade distributions for exams, so from your B you can read from this table that you achieved anywhere from 61.7% - 70.5% (55.5 /90 - 63.5 /90). And you placed in the top 33% of the accounting cohort.
2009/2010: Mathematical Methods(non-CAS) ; Business Management | English ; Literature - Physics ; Chemistry - Specialist Mathematics ; MUEP Maths

Look up the Graded Distributions for Business Management - on the VCAA website. 2010's list won't be there yet.
