I probably sound so arrogant right now, but there is NO fkn way that this kid got a higher mark than me or this other kid in my class who is complete genius type. The guy can't even spell properly, he is really really dumb.

As I (and others) have said, investigate the matter. But, have you read the essay? It might be really good. Spelling is pretty insignificant in VCE English.

Argh!!!

If this is the only piece of evidence that lead you to believe your SACs were being unfairly graded, I don’t think you will be taken seriously. Go through the comments your teacher gave you again, you may have unknowingly made a simple mistake which caused you to lose marks.

In my opinion, I believe it’s a bad idea to measure your level of intelligence against other people. Everyone's at a different level, and everyone works and improves at their own pace. Anyway, it's rather mean. Perhaps he worked and improved immensely over the school holidays?

I don't think it is a matter of your teacher not liking you, but careless mistakes could have cost you marks. But an A average is still an excellent result. Maintain that throughout the year, and achieve a high mark on the exam and I am sure your SAC marks will only increase.

Unless you accept the grade you got you will never be able to move on and improve. For good sake, ask the teacher why you didnt get an A+. Also there are many kids that play dumb, that are actually pretty smart. Okay and one more thing, dont be soo cocky about your english abilitys, that probably caused you to slack off.
But anyway good luck for your next one ;)
