Robbey, don't waste the time going out there to find 'unique' social parallels. There's no such thing.  Its all about how well u use ur social parallels and the approach you take in conveying your understanding THROUGH the social parallels. An example from Hitler or World War 2 or Gandhi can be just as good as any 'unique' ones out there provided you deliver it in a succinct, relevant and interesting manner.
