I think you face a trade-off, when selecting between an easy subject and a hard subject.

It seems to me that easy subjects have a high yield (score per unit of effort), but a high amount of risk attached to it, since small mistakes can have a very large effect on your ranking, and hence your SS. On the other hand, more competitive subjects require more effort, but the risk is lower, due to scaling.

Further Maths is one of those "easy" subjects. It has a high risk, but also a high return.

Easy subjects get marked down and hard ones get marked up..just choose a subject that you like and do reasonably good in..Then work hard and you should do well..

The ones where you are better than 95% of the state.

Business Management is another relatively easy subject if you have the capacity to explain and convey ideas well.

if you get admitted to a uni enhancement subject, a pass is automatically a 4.0 increment... equivalent to a 40, but it can only count as your 5th/6th subject
you might want to consider it =)

Further Maths!
It's boring and easy. I mean I'm ranking 1# in SACs in my class and I FAILED IB maths, I mean what's with that?
