Yeah. The mod makes it positive in any case. So $|a-b|=|b-a| \forall a,b\in \mathbb{R}$

That means my answer of $\frac{1}{2}log_{e}\left | \frac{2}{5\sqrt{2}-6} \right |$ is correct?

Dha's solution is $\frac{1}{2}log_{e}\left | \frac{2}{6-5\sqrt{2}} \right |$

correct, as i have said to you numerous times, the |-1| does not change the truth of the log, unless this Q was part of an application Q and we needed the -1, then as a final answer, both stands correct. Or if there was any initial conditions constraints, you'd need to be careful.
