Exam 1 is done and dusted. I suggest we forget about it and concentrate on exam 2. (still im not sure about q3 core)

I'm trying to learn from my mistakes in this exam so I don't do it again on exam 2.

Yeah, I guess that's true. But you can still make the same kind of mistakes though.

yeh tru. like in q9 in trig i had a similar question in my SAc extended response and i got it wrong. never leasrnt from my mistake.

yeah question 3 in core,, that was bull shit in all thoes 49 trials walla i never saw anything like that

i took a guess said, once they tought us that standard dev ~ Range/4  ..... but that gave me 3.4,,,  and then i was like hmm.. 3 . and it was 2?!!?!! what the hell

Bell curve Sx is equivilent (or close to) Range/8, as it equally divides the data into 8 sections as does the bell curve rule

My bro worked out another method. Using the 99.7% rule, work from the outside in towards the middle. Your standard deviation will be 2.

Same as what I did :)

just look at the curve, you knew Q1 and Q3, then you knew it had to be a bit further out, another 9% to reach the 68% rule so add a little on to the 1.5 of Q3 it had to be 2
Ahah nice use of the box plot, yes you are right that could work too

I'm guessing exam 2 will have all the stuff that exam one didn't? But I felt like that it covered most of it. The only thing I found that wasn't covered was annuitites and unit cost depreciation in the business. Happy to be proven wrong since I don't have my bounded reference on me.
